Every now and then I'll be doing these lists, or "Challenges" as I call them. They consist of 10 characters from a specific series I plan to draw.

First up: The original Mega Man series!

There are 10 main games in all: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and Mega Man & Bass.

Now, over the course of the original series which spans from the time it was created (1987) to the present (2009), a lot of interesting characters have been spawned. The most memorable are the bosses, or "Robot Masters", from each game. The objective is to play through a boss's level, beat him (or her, finally), and when you do that you get their main weapon to use for yourself as you go into the other levels and do the same. They all have weaknesses, such as wood being weak to fire.
So you generally use this to go by to advance through the game quicker, or have an easier time, since the Mega Man games are notorious for being a bit on the tough side.

Anyways! Since there are 10 games, I was going to pick a Robot Master from each game to draw, in the order the games were released.
Most of these I have hand-picked myself, HOWEVER!! Some of these YOU'LL have a voice in!
See, some of these characters are just awesome, and beginning with Mega Man 2, they all have 8 boss characters to choose from. And I like most of them. So picking ONE from each game was hard.
In the case I cannot decide, I will put up a poll with the Robot Masters from the next game I need help deciding on. Whoever gets the most votes, wins. Think of it like a regulated request.
Don't feel down if the one you voted for doesn't win; I may draw it in the later future.

Update 11-25-09:

Knight Man's FINALLY done. The poll results say Freeze Man is next, who I've anticipated for a while now. It's also going to be... different. You'll just have to wait and see what I mean. But I'll give you a little hint. Mega Man 1 - 6 were all 8-bit on the NES. Mega Man 7, the one Freeze Man appears in, is on the Super Nintendo with enhanced graphics.

I hope what I'm gonna try will turn out ok. Semi-original pose too.

Also, DOG GET! as you could tell by the photos I've uploaded. She's a handful and keeps me busy... when I could be drawing. That was one of my problems, but that's ok.
I also got my Mega Man shirt in the mail today, it rocks. (lol pun not intended)
